Character
From the very first creative art shoot in Melissa’s career, she consistently pushed to explore emotion, depth and movement.
Together with top New York-German fashion photographer, Udo Spreitzenbarth, they worked to create art shoots with numerous international magazines and campaigns.
For 5 years, they collaborated with German couture furniture client Bretz, by shooting for their art campaigns and catalogues. The shooting days were intense, often only allowing 2-3 days for shooting around 15 distinct images per season, (thus meaning that shooting days would be often from 8 AM - 2 AM).
These images would be seen on billboards, the back covers of magazines including Cosmopolitan (Germany), Elle Decor (Germany), and top German, Austrian and Australian interior design magazines.
They always trusted one another's artistic vision to never be constricting. To make these art shots happen without an “art director” on set, they collaborated with the amazing stylist Ty-Ron Mayes and the magnificent hair and make up artists- Alexander Becker and Eleni Yannopolous.
